Adrian congratulated Michail Antonio on his personal Instagram account after he helped West Ham record a crucial 4-0 win over Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

The back-up Liverpool goalkeeper, who was at the London Stadium last season, stated that the West Ham attacker was ‘on fire’ as he netted a stunning four goals.

It was a day to remember for the versatile attacker, who has probably now ensured West Ham’s safety in England’s top-flight.

After Antonio expressed his delight at his and West Ham’s performance on Instagram, which you can see below, a number of players, including Adrian commented:

“Best is on fire. Congrats mate,” wrote the Liverpool shot-stopper.

“Now that is BestModeeeee,” wrote Wycombe striker Adebayo Akinfenwa.

Former Hammers favourite Carlton Cole simply wrote: “My G’ added with a number of fire emojis:

David Moyes’ side are now six points ahead of 18th-placed Bournemouth and seven points ahead of 19th-placed Aston Villa, who both have a game in hand.

Norwich were relegated yesterday, so in truth, West Ham may well be safe by the time the final ball is kicked after their clash against Watford next week.
