West Ham earned an impressive 1-1 draw against London rivals Tottenham on Thursday night.

West Ham goalkeeper Adrian has responded on Twitter after an image of the Spaniard catching Cheikhou Kouyate’s head against Tottenham Hotspur became the talk of the internet on Thursday night.
The picture (below) shows Adrian seemingly confusing midfielder Kouyate’s head with the ball, as West Ham looked to keep Tottenham at bay. Despite letting the ball go loose, West Ham were not punished for the misjudgement.

The Hammers instead earned an excellent point away at Wembley against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as they defended resolutely against a side that dominated possession but failed to create an clear-cut chances.
West Ham themselves took the lead through a goal-of-the-season contender from Pedro Obiang, before Son Heung-Min equalised late on. Adrian reacted on Twitter to the picture, hilariously describing himself as Kouyate’s “chiropractor”.
Adrian’s return to the Hammers’ starting line-up over Joe Hart has coincided with West Ham’s mini-revival, which has seen them begin to show some form and climb out of the relegation zone into 15th place.
Making 11 appearances in all competitions, Adrian has kept five clean sheets and conceded just 12 goals as he continues to assert himself as the east Londoners number one – ruining Joe Hart’s England World Cup chances.
