West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian has told BBC Sport they showed spirit and character in the draw with Middlesbrough.
The Hammers hosted Aitor Karanka’s side at the London Stadium on Saturday looking to end their poor run of form at the beginning of the season.
They had lost their last four games in succession before the game to leave them sitting in the bottom three.
It looked like a fifth defeat was on the cards when Cristhian Stuani handed the visitors the lead when he headed home Viktor Fischer’s cross.

Luckily a superb goal from Dimitri Payet secured Slaven Bilic’s side a point and ensured they avoided another loss.
While he was the star man, his teammate was keen to praise the positive traits that the entire team showed.
“We showed team spirit, character and helped each other,” he told BBC Sport.
“This is the way to earn more points. It is a draw, one more point but a good one for us. We have to keep fighting for more points.”

There is no denying that Payet’s goal was the moment of the game by far and Adrian was more than impressed.
The Frenchman beat four Middlesbrough players on the way to firing into the bottom corner and drawing his team level.
It appeared to be a moment of pure inspiration but his teammate says that is the norm in West Ham’s training sessions.
“Payet is like that in training. He scored a like Lionel Messi goal at Barcelona! It is a massive goal to us,” he added.
