Adrian reveals that nobody from West Ham United has told him where he stands in regards to his future.

West Ham United star Adrian has told Radio Marca that he is in the dark over his future in East London and wants a conversation with new manager Manuel Pellegrini.

The Spaniard’s future at West Ham is shrouded in doubt at the moment after Spanish newspaper AS claimed that Real Betis wanted to re-sign the goalkeeper.

Adrian is contracted to the Irons until next summer but it remains to be seen what Pellegrini’s plans are for the 31-year-old, who spent half of last season playing second fiddle to Manchester City-owned Joe Hart, who has returned to Eastlands.

And the former Betis man tells Radio Marca that he is unsure what the future holds for him until he speaks with the Chilean manager, who replaced David Moyes earlier this month.

He said: “There have been quite a few movements since we have been on holiday and they are refreshing the squad that perhaps is what they wanted.

“Now I must see Pellegrini’s opinion of me. We have to sit down and arrive at the best decision for everyone.

“The club at the moment have not told me anything.”

Adrian, who earns £50,000 per week according to Spotrac, last week hinted that he wanted to stay in East London, and it seems surprising that nobody from the club has been in touch over where he stands.

But if the former City boss indicates that Adrian will not be his first-choice keeper for the 2018-19 campaign then few could blame him for wanting to leave.
