Balboa has joined Spanish side Terrassa on loan from Leeds.

Adrian Balboa’s bid to prove he is worthy of a chance in the Leeds United first team has hit the ground running on loan at Spanish side Terrassa FC, after scoring on his debut for the club on Saturday.
Balboa, 20, equalised for his side just after half-time as Terrassa earned a point away from home in the fourth tier of Spanish football against Santfeliuenc FC.
The Spanish striker was one of 23 players to leave Leeds this summer, with Under-23 teammate Oliver Sarkic the latest to depart after he moved to Barakaldo – a division higher than Balboa’s Tarrassa.
After opening his account, Balboa posted on Instagram to show his delight at finding the back of the net on his debut by uploading a picture and captioning it with: “Happy with my debut for Terrasa and to score a goal”.
The Barcelona-born striker joined Leeds last summer from Spanish minnows Unificacion Belvitge on a free transfer, but failed to break into the first team and instead remained with Carlos Corberan’s Under-23 side.
It remains to be seen whether Balboa has what it takes to make his way into Marcelo Bielsa’s side, with two years remaining on the three-year deal he signed last summer.
However, his goal is the perfect start to showing Leeds what he is capable of.
