West Ham United continued their unbeaten record away from home this season after a 2-2 draw against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
The Hammers went in to the game having beaten Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City away from home, and many expected that winning record on the road to continue.
However, Slaven Bilic’s men fell behind early on as Steven Fletcher hammered home Yann M’Vila’s clever free kick, before Jeremain Lens chipped Adrian to make it 2-0.
Carl Jenkinson pulled one back on the stroke of half time, and after Lens had been sent off, Dimitri Payet swept home an equaliser from Manuel Lanzini’s long range strike.
After the game, Hammers stars Adrian and Victor Moses took to Twitter to discuss the game and pass on messages to the faithful West Ham supporters.
Adrian was pleased to see his team-mates fight for their point, whilst Moses looked ahead to West Ham’s next game, which comes away at Crystal Palace after the international break.
