Leeds United forward Pawel Cibicki has joined ADO Den Haag on loan, with the Eredivisie side having an option to buy.

ADO Den Haag have confirmed on Twitter that they have completed a loan deal for Leeds forward Pawel Cibicki, with the Eredivisie side also agreeing an option that will allow them to make the Swede’s move permanent.
Cibicki has been back at Leeds for a number of weeks after his previous loan spell with Elfsborg came to an end and the Swedish side decided against taking up the option to sign him permanently.
The 25-year-old appeared to have virtually no chance of forcing his way into Marcelo Bielsa’s plans however, with the Argentine yet to pick the forward during his time at Elland Road.
So it will come as no surprise to Whites supporters that he has sealed a move away before the transfer window shuts across Europe. ADO Den Haag have announced on Twitter that Cibicki has joined them on a season-long loan deal that can be made permanent.

It looks to be best for all parties if Cibicki can seal a permanent switch to the Netherlands. Despite showing a couple of glimpses of his quality, Cibicki never managed to make a meaningful contribution on the pitch at Leeds, and has been frozen out for the large majority of his spell in Yorkshire.
Leeds may perhaps enjoy a financial boost from his departure. It would not be a big surprise if he was on a decent wage at Elland Road, so offloading him makes a lot of sense given that it seems to be a safe bet to assume that he will not play for the club again while Bielsa is in charge.

It will be interesting to see how the former Malmo man gets on during his time in the Eredivisie. He is set to be playing at a very good level, so it could be a fantastic opportunity for the forward.
Leeds will be hoping that he does do well during his time in the Netherlands. But probably only so they can make sure that they can offload him permanently in the near future.
