The Manchester United player needs to up his game when he returns for loan club Sunderland.

Adnan Januzaj has a lot to thank David Moyes for after the manager gave the young winger his debut for Manchester United back in 2013.
Januzaj quickly became a key player for United – one of the few bright sparks in a campaign that ultimately led to Moyes’ dismissal – but since then things have not gone according to plan.
Under Moyes, Januzaj looked like he was on the path to superstardom, but Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho did not appear to feel the same, the latter allowing the Belgian international to head out on loan to Sunderland in the summer.

Reunited with Moyes it seemed the perfect transfer, but so far Januzaj has done little to suggest he can rediscover his best form.
Prior to his ankle injury, Januzaj featured seven times for Sunderland, scoring one goal in the process, and once he returns he has to show what all the fuss is about.
The Black Cats are deep in the mire and they need Januzaj to get back to his very best, proving he has the fight not only to repair his flagging career but also to pull Sunderland out of the relegation zone before it is too late.

With just two points from their first nine matches, it is looking bleak for Sunderland. However Januzaj rose to the top at United when he was just a teenager so there is no doubt he can do the same at the Stadium of Light, adding some sparkle to a side in desperate need of inspiration.
If Januzaj does, it could be perfect both for Sunderland’s short-term hopes and for his own long-term career at Old Trafford.
If he does not, the comments about being just another flash in the pan are only going to increase.
