Adnan Januzaj was at Sunderland last season, as they were relegated from the Premier League.

Adnan Januzaj has told the Daily Mail that he was treated unfairly during his time at Sunderland.
Januzaj spent last season on loan at Sunderland, as the Black Cats endured a hugely difficult season.
The Belgian winger was unable to stop Sunderland slipped to relegation from the Premier League, and he fielded a great deal of criticism.
However, Januzaj feels that some of the scrutiny he was put under was not justify – as he always put effort in when on the pitch.

“People were criticising me as though I was the only player playing for Sunderland,” Januzaj said. “I am a young player, still learning. I always gave my best. I was always the one trying to make something happen. Sunderland have never been in the top four so you know it will be difficult.”
Januzaj made 25 Premier League appearances for Sunderland in total, but he was unable to score and only claimed three assists.
The winger was expected to increase the Black Cats’ attacking threat, but failed to do so – and the Stadium of Crowd certainly let the 22-year-old know how disappointed they were with his performances.

Januzaj has since departed English football, after leaving Manchester United to join Real Sociedad in the summer transfer window.
Januzaj has made three appearances for the La Liga side to date, but he is yet to get on the scoresheet for his new club.
