
According to 90min, Nuno Espírito Santo has asked Tottenham to bring Conor Coady to north London this summer.
What’s the story?
Well, the 28-year-old and Nuno seem to have a fantastic relationship.
The pair experienced plenty together at Molineux, ranging from promotion to the Premier League, to a Europa League quarter-final.
Now, Nuno wants his trusty steed to join him as he attempts to bring happiness back to Hotspur Way.
Coady – who is currently with England at EURO 2020 – made 40 appearances for Wolves last season, earning the first of his five England caps.
The £50,000-a-week man is a real leader, who boasts an incredible range of passing – he would improve Tottenham’s backline considerably.

Gary Lineker appeared to out himself as a Coady fan after the ex-Liverpool man scored his first England goal on his debut against Wales.
Having noticed the reaction of his fellow Three Lions teammates, Lineker made the assessment that the centre-back is a popular figure in the camp.

Coady does certainly seem to be a well-liked player.
He also appears to command respect and authority wherever he goes.

Despite holding just five England caps, Gareth Southgate has handed Coady the captain’s armband on a couple of occasions.
That just goes to show how much of a leader he is, making such a big impression in such a short amount of time.
If Nuno can pull this deal off, it’ll be a fantastic move for Tottenham.
