Crystal Palace and Leicester City are reportedly keen on Adi Hutter and the former Bundesliga boss admits that a Premier League job is his ‘big goal’.
Eintracht Frankfurt are not only renowned for unearthing exciting young centre-forwards, from Sebastien Haller and Ante Rebic to Luka Jovic and Randal Kolo Muani. The Europa League holders also know a thing or two about spotting rising managerial talents too.
Hutter, sandwiched by Niko Kovac and the Tottenham-linked Oliver Glasner, took Frankfurt to the semi-finals of the Europa League, laying the foundations for Glasner to build upon three years later.

BILD’s 2021 Coach of the Year might have underwhelmed at Borussia Monchengladbach but deserves the opportunity to get his promising coaching career back on track, reports suggesting that Hutter is open to the idea of replacing 75-year-old Roy Hodgson when his short-term Crystal Palace contract expires in the summer.
BILD reporter Christian Falk, meanwhile, believes Hutter is also in contention to take over from Brendan Rodgers at a Leicester City side who became the victims of Palace’s ‘new manager bounce’ on Saturday afternoon at Selhurst Park.
Will Adi Hutter replace Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City?
Hutter did not discuss either Palace or Leicester directly. But the 53-year-old Austrian is not hiding his desire to make a name for himself in England.
“My big goal is the Premier League. (My agent and I) are working on that,” Hutter tells Kicker. “There may be one or another option.
“There were several interesting inquiries last year, including from the Premier League. But that would have come too soon.”
“(The Premkier League is) the most interesting league in the world. I could develop further there. “There is no boring football there, it goes up and down.
“It’s hard to beat the top teams. But teams like Everton or Bournemouth are always going forward (playing attacking football). It’s not about having possession all the time.
“So I think my idea of football is very good in this league could fit. Especially since there are many fast players there.”
Hutter, a coach renowned for his high-octane, up-and-at-’em approach and his fondness for a three-man backline, won a league and cup double with Red Bull Salzburg. He also ended BSC Young Boys’ 32 year wait for domestic glory.
