Everton’s Ademola Lookman impressed on Friday.

Ademola Lookman was arguably Everton’s best player in Friday’s FA Cup defeat at Liverpool.
The 20-year-old winger replaced Wayne Rooney early in the second half and put forward a very strong case to be starting more games for the Toffees.

Lookman, a £7.5 million signing under Ronald Koeman 12 months ago, has only started one Premier League game for Everton this season.
And fans of the Goodison Park club made their feelings obvious after the former Charlton Athletic starlet posted on Twitter afterwards.

Lookman is certainly an outstanding talent but Sam Allardyce needs to box smart with him.
There has been no end of young English players who have shown huge promise as a youngster but then failed to develop, and it’s important that Allardyce keeps him grounded.
Then again, the Everton fans will rightly argue that if you’re good enough then you’re old enough and it’ll be interesting to see whether Allardyce selects him in the visit to Spurs next Saturday.
