Ademola Lookman joined RB Leipzig on loan from Everton in January.

Everton loanee Ademola Lookman has told the Bundesliga’s official website that he became frustrated at Goodison Park due to a lack of game time under Sam Allardyce, and that ultimately saw him join RedBull Leipzig on loan.
The 20-year-old was told by Allardyce in the January transfer window that he needed to find a new club after the Toffees lured Theo Walcott to Goodison Park, while Yannick Bolasie returned from a long spell on the sidelines.
Lookman has since starred in the Bundesliga, as one of the latest English talents to be lured to the top tier of German football which has also included Reece Oxford at Gladbach and Jadon Sancho at Borussia Dortmund.

The England Under-20 World Cup winner spoke of his disappointment at not being afforded a regular run in the Everton team following a good start on Merseyside since his £11million move north from League One side Charlton.
“I think the past year has been very challenging as well for me because I haven’t really been playing consistently as much as I would’ve liked,” Lookman said.
“It is something I’ve taken onboard, I’ve dealt with the situation and I hope to continue to deal with challenges because life’s all about challenges. Never give up. It’s always nice to make the [England] senior team, for sure, and that’s one of my aspirations.
“But we’ll see what the future holds.”

Making five appearances for Leipzig, the speed machine has scored one goal and laid on another assist for the ambitious German side who currently sit sixth place – despite finishing second last season.
It remains to be seen where Lookman’s long-term future remains, with three years remaining on the four-and-a-half-year deal he signed back in January 2017, reportedly worth £23,000 a week.
