Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the Charlton Athletic youngster.

Tottenham Hotspur have some of the most exciting young players in the country but that has not stopped them being linked with even more.
One such player is Charlton Athletic attacker Ademola Lookman who, according to the Mirror, is a serious target not just for Spurs but also for Premier League rivals Southampton, Arsenal and Liverpool. And on recent evidence it is no surprise Tottenham are among the clubs circling.

On Saturday Lookman proved to be Charlton’s hero, scoring his sixth senior goal for the Addicks in a 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers.
The effort showed just what all the fuss is about, with the 18-year-old scoring a superb strike from 20 yards out with the clock ticking down.
It showed maturity, confidence and innate talent and while Lookman has a contract at The Valley until the summer of 2020 it would be no surprise to see a serious bid or two come in before the transfer window slams shut on Wednesday.

Charlton have no intention of selling him as they bid to earn instant promotion back to the Championship, but Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will know some wonder-kids sparkle brighter than others and Lookman looks like the real deal.
Able to play on the wing or as a striker, the 18-year-old could be signed to ultimately solve two of Tottenham’s problems – the need for additional wide players and a third striking option prepared to bide their time on the bench.
