The Everton man was linked with Tottenham Hotspur before he made the switch to Merseyside.

As reported by the Express last year, Tottenham Hotspur were keen on signing Ademola Lookman before he swapped Charlton Athletic for Everton.
So what chance the teenage winger proving just what Spurs are missing this weekend?
The Toffees sealed an £11million deal (as reported by the BBC) back in January and Lookman has wasted little time proving his worth at Goodison Park.
While it was always going to take him time to settle on Merseyside, Lookman showed just what he is capable of when he came off the bench to score in the 4-0 victory against Manchester City earlier this year, and while he is yet to score or assist in five appearances since he could rectify that this weekend against Tottenham.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side welcome Everton to White Hart Lane on Sunday for their latest Premier League clash and both sides will be desperate for the three points.

With the Toffees likely to play a counter-attacking style against Tottenham, Lookman could be key in breaking forward, and if he plays to his full potential it could be a stark reminder of just what Spurs missed out on when they opted not to fork out for the teenager prior to Everton’s move.
Tottenham could certainly do with more quality in wide positions but, as it is, Everton have signed a player they will be hoping reaches the very top.
