It has the potential for high scores especially if you have three City players, but second-guessing Roberto Mancini’s team selection is a tricky job.
Yaya Toure could make his first Premier League start since the African Nations Cup, and is priced at just 7.5.
We think James Milner (7.1) will start too, and owners of 6.6 rated defender Vincent Kompany will fancy their chances of a clean sheet.
The big question is up front, will Edin Dzeko (8.1) start this week? We think he may, he came off the bench and scored in midweek and will be keen to show what he can do before Carlos Tevez returns to first team action.
Balotelli and Aguero will also be going for goals, and it would be silly to rotate out any of the trio. David Silva as ever, remains a reliable captain choice.
Onto Sunday’s games, and Manchester United‘s trip to Norwich.
We don’t fancy United for a clean sheet at all, and recommend 5.0 attacker Grant Holt as a cheap buy.
Wayne Rooney missed the midweek game with a throat infection but should return for this one, the question is whether or not he will have much of an impact. He is on a good run of form and it would be a bad move to take him out unless the team news suddenly changes.
In midfield we were ready to recommend Tom Cleverley (5.1) but his ankle injury has ruled him out, so this could be a game for Paul Scholes (5.3) to have an impact.
Stoke v Swansea is worth casting an eye on, and the Potters will be eager to repay their fans after their Europa League exit.
Pulis sent a signal he was ready to concentrate on the league by resting his big name stars, and we fancy Peter Crouch (6.4) to score in this one.
Swansea’s defensive record has suffered recently, and away from home they have never been reliable, so if you have Michel Vorm, it is worth rotating him out for this one.
Arsenal v Spurs is difficult to call, but seeing as recent games have finished with scorelines such as 3-3 and 3-2, we really don’t see any clean sheets here.
Emmanuel Adebayor missed out on a goal against his former club last time out, but he must have been saving it for the Emirates.
His performance against Newcastle was outstanding, contributing a goal and four assists, and he has to be possible captain choice.
We of course recommend Robin van Persie, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (6.0) is well priced if you think Wenger will start him.
