Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane will be looking to be the top marksman in the Premier League once again this season.

Wycombe striker Adebayo Akinfenwa has brutally stated that he is ‘not a fan’ of Harry Kane because he plays for Tottenham Hotspur.
Akinfenwa, who is known as ‘the beast’ because of his strong physique, did admit that he is a ‘fan’ of the England man in general as he backed Mauricio Pochettino’s side to beat Southampton at the weekend.
Following their Champions League triumph in midweek, where they beat Dortmund 1-0 in Germany to win the tie 4-0 on aggregate and book their place in the Champions League’s last eight, they will now turn their attention to Premier League matters.
Pochettino’s side have picked up only one point in their last three league games as Akinfenwa backed them to get back to winning ways and offered his thoughts on Kane.
“I am a fan of Harry Kane, but I am not a fan of him because he plays for Tottenham,” Akinfenwa told BBC Sport. “I feel like they are going to make a statement in this game, and do really well on the counter-attack. 1-3.”
In recent seasons gone by, Kane has proven his worth in the Premier League where he has finished the campaign as the top marksman and he will be hoping to replicate that for this term.

Over the course of this season, he has played 25 matches in England’s top-flight, scoring 16 goals, but he did miss a number of weeks because of injury [transfermarkt].
There is no doubt that Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and arguably the best centre-forward in the Premier League, although Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero will say otherwise.
