Football strongman Ade Akinfenwa has delivered a bold suggestion to new Watford boss Marco Silva.

Watford’s new head coach replaced Walter Mazzarri, who himself had replaced Quique Sanchez Flores the summer before.
Hornets owners the Pozzo family have a record of hiring and firing managers on a regular basis, with the former Hull City boss the ninth man at the helm since their takeover at Vicarage Road five years ago.
After a string of impressive signings and performances which almost saved the Tigers from relegation against the odds last season, Silva will be looking to work his magic in the transfer market yet again this summer.

As is usually the case when a new manager takes over at Watford, the future of captain Troy Deeney is the subject of speculation.
Time will tell whether fans’ favourite Deeney remains at the club, but if journeyman and strongman footballer Ade Akinfenwa has anything to do with it he will.
The Beast, as he is known, spent last season with Wycombe Wanderers and met up with Deeney while holidaying in Miami.

And in a picture posted on Instagram, Akinfenwa made a bold – and presumably tongue-in-cheek – suggestion, that he should be paired up front with Deeney in what he feels would be a dangerous partnership.
“Good to catch up with my guy Troy Deeney in these Miami streets,” Akinfenwa said on Instagram.
“I’ve got the upmost respect for him. Ps this pic has got me thinking, I think this partnership would bully a few defenders.”
At 35 years of age and with 14 clubs to his name during a colourful career, it is unlikely Akinfenwa will be getting a Premier League move anytime soon.
But with one of his claims to fame being that he can bench press 200kg – double his own body weight – who are we to tell him that.
