Everton are reportedly interested in signing a number of players in January.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Ronald Koeman is keen to add more competition for places in Everton’s attack.
Everton have the likes of Gerard Deulofeu, Kevin Mirallas and Yannick Bolasie competing for places on the wings, but Koeman wants more options to use out wide.
The Toffees feel that getting more supply into Romelu Lukaku will help their attack become even more potent, as they look to compete for a European place this season.
Everton are currently in seventh place in the Premier League, but Koeman is set to invest in January to strengthen his side further.
And the Mail suggest that signing a new winger will be one of Everton’s main priorities in the new year.
Everton have already started identifying targets who they feel could enhance their attacking threat and Manchester United’s Memphis Depay is believed to be one of their potential additions.
Depay has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford, but Everton would reportedly be interested in offering the Dutch international a chance to show he can perform in English football.
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has also confirmed recently that Koeman will be given money to spend in January, with some new additions looking likely to arrive at Goodison Park in the near future.
