According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Newcastle United are interested in signing Adama Traore, and he would be a majorly exciting addition to Rafael Benitez’s squad.
Traore’s first spell in the Premier League with Middlesbrough was not a particularly productive one, but the winger seems to have finally added an end product to his game this season.
Traore’s talent has never been in question, but sometimes his feet appeared to work too quickly for his brain to process.
However, this term, he has been nothing short of a revelation for Middlesbrough and he would be a brilliant addition to Newcastle’s squad.
Traore’s blistering pace and skill in possession makes him a nightmare for defenders, as he is so unpredictable.
And there is no question that if he arrived at St. James’ Park, he would make Newcastle’s attack considerably more threatening.
At the moment, the Magpies are said to be behind Chelsea in the race to snap up the wide-man.
But if they can somehow move ahead of Antonio Conte’s side in the race for Traore’s signature he would be a hugely exciting signing for the Magpies.
