Jermaine Jenas has said on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One (10;47pm, August 29, 2021) that reported Tottenham Hotspur target Adama Traore was unstoppable against Manchester United yesterday.
The former Tottenham midfielder was impressed by the display produced by Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Traore, linked with a move to Spurs in the summer transfer window, against United in the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur interest
Cadena SER have reported that Traore wants to join Spurs before the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday.
The Telegraph reported this month interest from Tottenham in the 25-year-old Spain international winger.
Jermaine Jenas impressed
Jenas said on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One (10;47pm, August 29, 2021): “He was unstoppable at times. Just look at that.
“The way the players are jumping out of the way, thinking, ’This guy is so quick I can’t stop him’. He was always driving at the heart of United.”

How did Adama Traore play?
Traore is a brilliant footballer who played well for Wolves, who lost 1-0 to United.
The Spain international was arguably the best attacking player on the pitch, as he ran at the United defenders and made life hard for the opposition players.

The 25-year-old’s strength, direct running and ability to pick the right passes really made him stood out in the game.
Traore took two shots and one was on target, played four key passes, had a pass accuracy of 84.6%, won two headers, took 54 touches, attempted eight dribbles, made one tackle, and put in five crosses.
Based on his performance against United, it is easy to understand why Tottenham are so keen on Traore.
Meanwhile, former Spurs manager Tim Sherwood said about Traore on Sky Sports News (1:47pm, August 28, 2021): “I have said it before and I will say it again.
“The best way to describe Adama Traore is no one wants to play with him, no one wants to play against him.
“He is a powerhouse, his finishing needs improving and he needs to keep developing and keep working at it.
