Wolverhampton Wanderers were soundly beaten by Leicester City on Saturday.
Wolves star Adama Traore spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s 2-0 defeat at Leicester City on Saturday, and shared what Nuno Espirito Santo told the players after the game, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Black Country outfit were quite simply superb in the Championship last season, but they have managed just one point from their opening two Premier League games, and they have already found out just how unforgiving the top flight can be.
Nuno has more than enough quality at his disposal, though, to guide his side to a top 10 finish this season, and the players absolutely must maintain the belief in themselves.
Adama, who signed for Wolves from Middlesbrough for £18 million earlier this month, spoke to reporters after the defeat against the Foxes, and shared what Nuno told the players in the dressing room at the King Power Stadium, as quoted by the Express & Star:
“The team is ready and I believe in the team 100 per cent. We played so good in the first half, we had chances, we’ll keep listening to what Nuno says and keep working. He just said we keep our identity and keep following what he says. We’ll work for the manager and everything will be good. I tried to help the team the best way I can. I will keep doing that.”
Next up for Wolves is an incredibly tough game against Manchester City at Molineux on Saturday, and each and every player who plays will have to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of taking a positive result away from the game.
