David Edwards recently signed a new contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Former Brighton & Hove Albion and Celtic player Adam Virgo has praised Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder David Edwards on social networking site Twitter.
Virgo has stated that Edwards has been brilliant for Wolves so far this season, and that he is very underrated in the Championship.
The 33-year-old has also praised the Wanderers for handing a new deal to the midfielder.
Edwards recently put pen to paper on a new two-and-a-half year contract, with a further year’s option in the club’s favour, as announced on Wolves’ official website.

A number of Wolves players have congratulated the 30-year-old midfielder on his new deal.

Wolves are struggling in the Championship at the moment and are in danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season.
The Wanderers are currently just two points above the relegation zone in 20th place in the standings.
Paul Lambert’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Fulham at Molineux in the Championship.
Fulham are 10th in the league table at the moment with 28 points from 19 games.
