Following their heartbreaking play-off final loss in May, Sheffield Wednesday have bounced back relatively well and currently find themselves in 9th after 11 league games.
Unfortunately, one of the biggest issues that still remains for the Owls is their inability to find consistency. As reported by The Star, record signing Adam Reach has indicated that if they can win a few games consecutively then the momentum will start to carry them forward.
Reach arrived from Middlesbrough in the summer and since then the winger has impressed Owls fans with some of his performances.
“In an ideal world (we’d already be on a winning run) but that’s the Championship for you.

“You come up against tough games, there are tough opponents every week and it’s very difficult to put a run together, so thats obviously the aim.
“If we get one win and then turn that into two, then it snowballs.
Like I keep saying, we’ll try and put it right against Huddersfield.”
Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal
Going on a winning run is easier said than done in this division, with the Championship being known for it’s unpredictability. The positive for Wednesday is that they now have experience of making a play-off push, and they now know what it takes to break into the top six.
As Reach mentioned, their next game sees them take on top of the table Huddersfield Town in what could be a season defining clash.
