Quoted by the club’s official website, Adam Lallana has claimed he feels he has a connection with manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds midfielder has been a big hit under the German manager since he took charge last October.

He has been a big part of his team’s since then, playing a role in their runs to both the Europa League and Capital One cup finals last season.

He has continued to impress under him in the early stages of this campaign and recently starred in the 4-1 win over Leicester City.

Much of his success has been the manner in which he has fully bought into Jurgen Klopp’s strategy and the midfielder has admitted he feels he has a connection with his manager.

“I kind of got him from the word go and I feel like our relationship has blossomed and got better ever since,” the club’s official website quotes him saying.

“With the gaffer, I just kind of feel I’ve got that connection with him where I know what he wants from me and what he wants from the team. I feel trusted by him, which is a big thing for a player.”

Liverpool will now be hoping Lallana can continue to impress for the rest of the season.

They are seventh in the table at present, with seven points from their first four games.

They are just two points outside of the top four, though, and could move as high as second if they can beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this evening.
