Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United won against Wigan Athletic in the Championship on Sunday.

The West Yorkshire outfit got the better of Leeds 2-1 away from home at the DW Stadium in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side went 1-0 down after just six minutes, but the Whites launched a successful comeback and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Forshaw played well for Leeds in the match, and the 27-year-old former Everton and Wigan Athletic midfielder – who joined the Whites from Middlesbrough in January 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £4.5 million – has revealed what a Wigan player told him about Bielsa’s team after the game.
“I spoke to one of their lads who I’ve played with and he said we’re the first team to come here and really pass them off the park,” Forshaw told The Yorkshire Evening Post.

Pushing for promotion
Leeds have been arguably the best and most entertaining team to watch in the Championship so far this season, and it was no different against Wigan.
The Whites showed mettle and determination to come from a goal down, and it underlines the players’ characters.
The West Yorkshire outfit are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 30 points from 16 matches.
