Leeds star is hoping his season is not yet over.
Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has been ruled out of the club’s play-off semi-final second leg, manager Marcelo Bielsa confirmed at his press conference yesterday.
Forshaw was substituted in the first half against Derby at the weekend.
The Leeds midfielder is hopeful that his season is not yet over.
He sent a message to fans expressing his frustration at having to miss Wednesday’s game. He hopes to make a return if Leeds make the final.
Leeds won the first leg away at Derby 1-0, moving into a strong position to reach the final.
The midfielder moved to Leeds for £4.5 million in 2018, but was found to be remarkably replacement in the first leg by academy talent Jamie Shackleton.
He might face a fight to get back into the team for the play-off final if Leeds get there.
