Pablo Hernandez is an important player for Leeds United.
The former Everton prospect has said that Hernandez – who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder – is the best player he has played at Leeds.
Forshaw joined Leeds from Championship rivals Middlesbrough in January 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £4.5 million.
Hernandez moved to the West Yorkshire outfit from Al-Arabi on loan in the summer of 2016 when Garry Monk was in charge of the Whites and made the deal permanent in January 2017.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the 34-year-old is out of contract at Leeds in the summer of 2020.
Forshaw said on the Talking Shutt podcast when asked about the best player he has played with for Leeds: “Pablo. He is one of the best players I’ve every played with, nevermind Leeds.
“He is just the type of player that makes things happen. You’ve got to try and give him the ball at every opportunity. You need players like that in your team.”

Hernandez has scored two goals and provided two assists in eight Champions League games for Leeds so far this season, according to WhoScored.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the Spaniard made 39 starts and two substitute appearances in the league for the Whites, scoring 12 goals and providing 12 assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
