Leeds United ace Adam Forshaw has picked a dream 5-a-side team.
Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has forced his way into Marcelo Bielsa’s side since returning from injury – and has now put himself in a dream 5-a-side team.
The Whites ace, who joined the club from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window as he reunited with Victor Orta, has now made 10 appearances this season, and should remain an integral part of the Leeds side this term.
He has though risked a little bit of backlash by naming his dream 5-a-side team, as he included a Manchester United player in his selection despite the bitter rivalry between the two sides.
Forshaw gave his selections to the official Leeds website, and having picked himself as one of the players, he moved on to the other four, all of whom play in the Premier League.
The first shout was for Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea; the Spaniard is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers in the world, so Leeds fans shouldn’t be too hard on Forshaw for picking a Red Devil in his side.
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk was his next pick, with the Dutch defender now regarded as the top defender in the Premier League, and seemingly holding down the defence in Forshaw’s side.
Two Belgians followed as Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele and Chelsea winger Eden Hazard were both named in Forshaw’s side, rounding out his dream 5-a-side team.
Few can blame him for picking De Gea, and Leeds fans are likely to take the stance that, if any United player had to be in the side, De Gea is probably the most agreeable selection.
