Leeds United’s Adam Forshaw came through the youth ranks at Everton.

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has claimed the Elland Road side are by far the biggest club he has ever played for despite making an appearance with boyhood club Everton, Leedsunited.com report.
“This is a proper football club. People say it all of the time, but the fans are unbelievable. The support is incredible and it is by far the biggest club I have played for and will play for. I want to be here for many more years and experience some really good highs with the club and see where it takes us,” Forshaw explained.
The Liverpool-born midfielder signed for Leeds in January 2018 from Middlesbrough for a reported £4.5 million fee.
Few could argue with the size and history of Leeds compared to Forshaw’s most recent clubs Middlesbrough, Wigan Athletic and Brentford. However, prior to that, the 27-year-old featured on Everton’s books.
Forshaw came through the youth ranks at Goodison Park and then manager David Moyes handed him his Everton debut in the Europa League during the 2009-10 season.
The midfielder then made his Premier League debut for the Toffees in 2011, coming on as a substitute in a routine home victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers before being released by the Merseysiders in 2012.

Forshaw may not include his time at Everton among his list due to a lack of game-time, or he may feel Leeds are actually just the bigger club despite their long absence from the Premier League.
The Whites are on course for a return to the top-flight as Marcelo Bielsa’s side sit second in the Championship table, one point clear of Sheffield United with just five games remaining.
Forshaw has been in and out of the Leeds first-team this season, starting 16 league games and making a further nine appearances from the bench.
