Leeds United duo Adam Forshaw and Kalvin Phillips are reportedly attracting interest from elsewhere.

Recently relegated Fulham and their manager, Scott Parker are reportedly keen on the services of Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw.

The Daily Mail have claimed that Fulham, who won promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs last May, are keen to bolster their midfield ahead of their return to the second tier, with Leeds United’s man in the middle on their lists of targets.

Leeds losing one of their senior men in Forshaw to a fellow promotion rival would be a bigger kick in the teeth for Marcelo Bielsa than the club losing Kalvin Phillips this summer.

The Telegraph recently claimed that Premier League side Aston Villa are keen on the services of Leeds defensive rock Phillips following their promotion to the top-tier.

There’s no doubt that Phillips is the better player and most important player to the Yorkshire outfit, but Leeds simply cannot lose any players to their potential promotion rivals.

The Whites would back themselves to keep hold of Phillips this term and he would be keen to stay, but in the overall picture, they would fair better off with Phillips’ departure.

For starters, they wouldn’t be strengthening the squad of a rival and on top of that if they had to lose a key man in Phillips’ case, they would get the money needed to go on re-build – it might not be the same case with Forshaw.

Given the size of Leeds, the presence of Bielsa and the feel-good factor at the club, it would be a real surprise if they were to lose any of their first-team stars to potential rivals.
