Leeds United are celebrating their 100th birthday.

Adam Forshaw has shared that the Leeds United players were talking about the prospect about a meeting a Vinnie Jones ahead of the club’s centenary celebrations.
Leeds are celebrating their 100th birthday, as the club is marking it by gathering current players, past legends and fans together to celebrate the good times.
There is set to be a number of high-profile stars on show, as Leeds fans will want to reminisce about their glory days and be hopeful that today’s crop of players can take inspiration from that.
Speaking to Sky Sports News (17/10/2019 at 4:30 pm), Forshaw shared his thoughts on meeting the club legends, as one name came to mind straight away.
On whether they are looking forward to meeting the legends and hearing their stories: “Yes, a couple of the lads were saying when we were travelling that the chances of meeting a Vinnie Jones or someone like that, for example,” Forshaw told Sky Sports News. “It will be nice to have a chat with everybody.”

Leeds have endured a number of difficult years since their relegation in 2004, but since Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival last summer, he has lifted everyone at Elland Road.
It would be some story if Leeds can mark their 100th birthday by winning promotion to the Premier League in May.
One thing is for sure, just like last season, they will be in and amongst in May, but this time the supporters will be hoping that there is no drama attached to it.
But this is Leeds United, and more than likely if the club is going to end their drought of making a return to the promised land, they will perhaps end up doing it in the most difficult way possible.
