Adam Forshaw has joined Leeds United from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.

According to BBC Sport, the West Yorkshire outfit have had to pay Boro a transfer fee of £4.5 million in order to secure the services of the 26-year-old midfielder.
The former Brentford and Wigan Athletic midfielder has explained to the Leeds fans what they can expect from him.
“In midfield, there are the likes of Eunan, Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips, I think competition for places is only good for everyone, it brings the best out in people and really ups the standard,” Forshaw told Leeds’s official website.
“Hopefully I can bring some goals and a few assists, I like to get on the ball and get the team playing and keep the team moving, whilst creating some chances.”
Forshaw has also sent a message to the Middlesbrough fans, and has thanked them and the club for the memories.
“I’d like to thank both the club and the fans at Boro for the support and memories of the past three years,” Forshaw told Middlesbrough’s official website.
“There’s been some tough times in there, but also some fantastic memories to look back on, none more so than when we promotion to the Premier League.”
“I’m delighted to complete the move to Leeds and am looking forward to the chance of playing regular football, but I didn’t want to leave Boro without thanking the fans for their support and wishing the club all the best for the future,” added the midfielder.
Both Leeds and Middlesbrough are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship and stand a chance of getting promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season.
While the Whites are seventh in the league table at the moment, Boro are currently ninth in the standings, just two points behind Thomas Christiansen’s side.
