Leeds United have signed Adam Forshaw from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.

New Leeds United signing Adam Forshaw has spoken highly of the fans to the club’s official website.
Leeds have signed Forshaw from Championship rivals Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.
As announced on Boro’s official website, the West Yorkshire outfit had to pay a transfer fee of £4.5 million in order to secure the services of the 26-year-old midfielder.
The 26-year-old former Everton and Brentford man has been blown away by the fanbase of Leeds.

“I’m made up, as soon as I knew Leeds were interested I wanted to come here,” Forshaw told Leeds’s official website. “With the size of the club, the history, everything just felt right and I can’t wait to get going.
“I had one or two other opportunities, but as soon as I knew the interest was there from Leeds it was a no brainer and it really excites me.
“This is one of the biggest clubs in the country, the fan base speaks for itself, whenever they go away from home they fill it every time and that can only spur the lads on.”

Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England and have some of the best supporters in the England.
While some new players can get intimidated at the prospect of playing in front of 30,000 or so fans at Elland Road every other week, Forshaw’s comments suggest that he will relish doing so.
Forshaw has arrived at Elland Road with a strong reputation, and the midfielder could play a key role in Leeds’s quest to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
