Adam Forshaw has hailed Leeds teammate Patrick Bamford.

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has been quoted by Leeds Live as saying that he thinks teammate Patrick Bamford has a ‘strange confidence’ about him.
The Whites picked up another major victory on Saturday afternoon, beating Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 at Elland Road to move another step closer to promotion.
With Sheffield United drawing at home to Millwall earlier in the day, Leeds took full advantage with a fine win, and are now three points clear in the race for second place.
It was another frustrating day for striker Bamford though, as he had three efforts on goal but failed to hit the target, but just days after a two-goal display against Preston.
Bamford has been up and down of late, struggling against Millwall and Birmingham City, but then coming back to form at Deepdale, and suffering another dip at Deepdale.
With Kemar Roofe back in the fold, Bamford’s role may be under threat now, but he has been backed by teammate Forshaw, who played with him at Middlesbrough too.

Forshaw has suggested that Bamford has a ‘strange confidence’ about him in the best way possible, also calling it a ‘nice arrogance’ as Bamford also believes he will score no matter how many times he misses, praising his character.
“Pat has a strange confidence about him in a good way,” said Forshaw. “He’s got a ‘nice arrogance’, if you like. He believes in himself and knows that if he gets chances again he will score and that is what you want in your number 9. He has massive character and mentality,” he added.
