Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has hailed Marcelo Bielsa.

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has told BBC’s Football Daily that he wants to become a manager now he’s learned from Marcelo Bielsa.
The Whites hammered West Bromwich Albion 4-0 on Friday night to strengthen their bid for promotion to the Premier League, and Bielsa is naturally taking the plaudits.
Bielsa has worked wonders with Leeds this season, working wonders since being named as the bold, ambitious and almost surprise choice to replace Paul Heckingbottom.
The Argentine has a huge reputation in the game and has inspired a whole host of current managers, including Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola.
Bielsa’s meticulous methods and attractive brand of football will continue to inspire many, and it seems that he is even making Leeds players consider their futures beyond playing.
Midfielder Forshaw has admitted that Bielsa has improved him, but also made him think about the game differently since arriving at Elland Road.

Forshaw noted that he now wants to be a manager himself after seeing Bielsa in action, feeling that he’s learned things that he could take into his own managerial career in the years to come.
“He’s improved me, definitely,” said Forshaw. “I think a lot of the lads can say the same. Me, now, at 27, he’s making me feel like I’d like to be a manager. He’s brought a lot of things into my game that I feel I could take into management one day hopefully, and he’s made me really think about the game differently,” he added.
Forshaw’s comments sum up just what an incredible manager Bielsa is, and it will be fascinating to see how many of this current Leeds squad become managers in the future.
