Despite the surprise departure of Neil Harris on Thursday, Millwall recorded all three points against Leeds United on Saturday.

Adam Barrett has praised Millwall for ‘limiting’ Leeds United in the second-half despite his players not following on from the message that was put out at the break.
Millwall’s caretaker boss claimed that ‘everything’ that was spoken about at half-time ‘didn’t happen’ as his side still ended up recording a 2-1 win against 10-man Leeds.
The London club went into the break leading 2-0, and with the visitors down to 10 men, Ezgjan Alioski put the ball into the back of the net moments after the restart.
After the game, Barrett shared what his team talk was all about and how his team didn’t really follow it up, but they still managed to walk away with the three points.
On his half-time message: “Trying to clam every down,” Barrett told Leeds Live. “Everything we said didn’t happen in the second half. Leeds scored very quickly. Had to regroup and I am proud of the boys.
“Leeds took the handbrake off and we limited them to hardly any attempts. We grafted and came strong at the end again. More composure and we might have killed the game off.”

Millwall went into Saturday’s game against promotion hopefuls Leeds having parted ways with their long-time manager and club legend Neil Harris.
Less than 24 hours after their 1-1 draw at Luton Town on Wednesday night, Harris decided to step down as manager, but that didn’t seem to affect them on Saturday.
As for Leeds, they will be annoyed with the decision-making on the day as they will be hoping their team can bounce back after the international break.
