Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after EA Sports released their player ratings for FIFA 22, including a card for Kalvin Phillips.
What’s the story?
Well, EA Sports have decided to make Phillips an 81-rated card.
For those of you who don’t know, a player’s maximum rating on FIFA can go up to 99, so Phillips is 18 places off the highest ranking.
81 isn’t the worst, as none other than Kevin De Bruyne is rated at 91.
However, some fans have expressed annoyance at Phillips only having 75 for passing, which is baffling.
The Yorkshire Pirlo didn’t get that nickname for nothing, and we can’t believe EA Sports have adjudged his passing to be so poor.
Clearly, those in charge of creating FIFA 22 don’t want Phillips spray passes around Premier League pitches week in, week out.
How is Kalvin Phillips rated so poorly for Leeds?

Every year, we see supporters get frustrated as EA Sports rate their favourite players harshly.
It’s usually bias, and the fan is often wrong.
However, in this case, we simply cannot understand how EA Sports have come to this decision.
Leeds aside, Phillips started every game for England on their way to the EURO 2020 final, and was among the players of the tournament.

Additionally, he was even named England Player of the Year recently.
In that respect, the 25-year-old at least deserves an 84 overall rating, with his passing statistics nearing the nineties.
For now, let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about his FIFA 22 card…
