Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, Robbie Williams has been discussing his performance in front of the England squad during the World Cup camp.
The Take That star played a special concert for the England team during their down time at the tournament, and some of the players even got involved.
Williams says that James Maddison sang Sweet Caroline with him, while team captain, Harry Kane, joined him on stage for a rendition of My Way.

Williams shared a story about singing alongside Kane.
“Well, later on I actually sang My Way with Harry Kane, and then Jack Grealish turned up a bit later and he said ‘oh I was hoping you’d get me up to sing She’s The One, I really like She’s The One.’ If I knew I’d have sang that with Grealish,” Williams said.
“The answer you your question was that It was intimidating because they don’t behave like a normal audience would because they don’t want to look silly in front of each other.”
Good atmosphere
The key to being successful at a World Cup is to cultivate a good atmosphere within the camp, and that’s exactly what England managed in Qatar.
Yes, they didn’t get past France, but it seems as though every single player loved every minute of their time in the middle east.
Say what you will about Gareth Southgate’s tactics, he knows how to manage a group, and getting Robbie Williams to come a do a concert with the team is another stroke of man-management genius.
As for Kane’s singing, we’d pay good money to see video footage of the England captain on stage with Robbie belting out a bit of Frank Sinatra.
