West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing a graphic from Sky Sports showcasing Tomáš Souček’s efforts this season.
The graphic shows that West Ham’s No.28 ranks first in the Premier League in three departments.
Firstly, the Czech Republic international has won more aerial duels than any other player with 217 successful headed battles.
Aside from his aerial dominance, Souček is also a formidable foe on the ground as well.
The £19.1 million man ranks first for overall duels, winning 337 in total.
Additionally, the £67,308-a-week colossus has run more than anyone else in England’s top-flight this term.
Souček has covered 437.7km, which is absolutely phenomenal.
You might expect these kind of statistics from a goal-shy, energetic workhorse in midfield.
However, what makes Souček such an amazing player is the fact he’s still impacting things in the attacking third.
The 26-year-old has nine Premier League goals to his name this season, while also providing one assist in 36 appearances.
Ten goal involvements in 36 games, for a player who does so much all over the pitch, is frankly absurd.
West Ham have an absolute phenomenon on their hands.
