Lucas Paqueta has praised Gabriel Jesus on Instagram by labelling him as ‘ace’ for his pre-season hat-trick for Arsenal on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta’s side, in what was their first home game of pre-season this summer, put six goals past La Liga side, Sevilla, in a rip-roaring fashion.
Arsenal have been goal-crazy this summer and within 19 minutes of yesterday’s encounter, they already had four goals on the board.

Added with Jesus scoring three in front of his new fans, Bukayo Saka also netted a brace and Eddie Nketiah added to the thumping scoreline very late on.
It ends a dominant pre-season for the Gunners, which has seen them win all six matches, scoring 25, conceding five and securing three clean sheets along the way.
Nonetheless, after yesterday’s day of entertainment from Jesus, he praised his new teammates on his IG by posting ‘well played guys’.
In the comments section of Jesus’s post, Lyon midfielder, Paqueta, who is being linked to the north London club this summer, wrote ‘ace, brother’ to his fellow countryman.
The likes of Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka also sent positive vibes to their new teammate.
WILL ARSENAL SIGN PAQUETA?
The summer transfer window is still wide open and Arteta has shared that he wishes to add to his armoury ahead of the new Premier League season.
What areas is he looking at and does he think another midfielder is needed?
The issue for Arsenal is that they aren’t the only ones keen on Paqueta because Manchester City and Newcastle are also in the race.
Therefore, if they seriously want to sign the Brazil star in question, then, as they have been all summer long, the cheque book needs to come out.
