West Bromwich Albion’s Nacer Chadli would represent a great piece of business for West Ham United.

Nacer Chadli was named in Belgium’s World Cup squad on Monday – a real show of faith in a player whose season was blighted by injury.
Unable to play a role in West Brom’s fight against relegation, the Belgian has acknowledged that now they’re down, he may have played his last game for the club.

That’s a situation West Ham should take note of in their push to make waves in the Premier League next season.
The arrival of Manuel Pellegrini as West Ham manager and subsequent links to players like Javier Pastore have shown the ambition at the club right now, and adding a squad player like Chadli would make some sense.
Chadli would not have to come in as a first-choice player, nor should he expect to be after featuring in just four games last season, but instead would provide West Ham much needed depth in wide positions.

But that’s the least of it – should Chadli get back to his best, West Ham would have a fantastic option out wide for a team as attacking as Pellegrini’s.
Chadli, of course, is proven in the Premier League. Five goals and five assists under Tony Pulis are quite impressive figures, while his only full season as Tottenham Hotspur saw him score 11 and add another five assists domestically.
And West Ham could also sign Chadli on the relative cheap – with the usual relegated-team discount.
