West Ham United have struck deals for Jack Wilshere, Felipe Anderson, Issa Diop, Andriy Yarmolenko, and more since Manuel Pellegrini arrived.

Portuguese outlet O Jogo are also suggesting that the Hammers are offering former Shakhtar Donetsk player Bernard a signing on fee of £6.5m.
With previous deals for Issa Diop, Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko, Lukasz Fabianski, and Fabian Balbuena already tied up, West Ham’s spending is set to move past the £100m mark.
That’s a staggering outlay for a team like West Ham who have never spent anything like this before.
The arrival of Manuel Pellegrini as manager has reinvigorated the club, making them an ambitious side and one that’s clearly very desirable to talent all over Europe.

But it’s the speed of their spending that really catches the eye; there’s definitely a lot of logic to waiting until the World Cup finishes before splashing cash – as the majority of the Premier League is doing – but West Ham are getting in relatively early, and will have most of their business done before the World Cup is officially over.
West Ham have brought in an immense amount of talent before the mad scrap begins, and prices go even higher. But what’s even more important is that the club has given their new boss as much time as possible to get his squad ready for the new season.
This is a truly brilliant summer transfer effort from West Ham.
