The teenager is still getting to grips with the Premier League as Fulham reportedly offer him a new long-term deal.

The BBC is reporting that Fulham are in the early negotiations of a new long-term contract for Ryan Sessegnon.
The 18-year-old was voted the Championship Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year after a sensational season last time out that saw him score 15 times as Fulham won promotion.
That form saw a host of team interested in his signature, most notably Tottenham Hotspur, although no one was able to convince Fulham into selling.
Sessegnon’s start to the season has been slow, however, with no goals and just one assist. The step up to the Premier League was always going to be a tough one for a teenager – especially as part of a newly promoted side – and the hype has died down somewhat as a result.
As much as Fulham could do with a fully-firing Sessegnon right now, his slow start could greatly benefit them in the long run if they do get this long-term deal over the line.

With no ‘bigger’ clubs putting pressure on, the BBC report suggests that Fulham are confident it will get done without any major issues, while also claiming that Sessegnon has no plans to leave Craven Cottage anytime soon.
There is no doubting Sessegnon’s talent and a long-term contract would be incredible for Fulham. A few months of him getting used to the Premier League is a small price to pay for that.
