Reports in France say that Watford are looking to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Goncalo Guedes before Thursday’s transfer deadline.

CulturePSG.com are reporting that Watford have made a club-record offer of €60m (£54m) for Goncalo Guedes.
The site, considered very reliable for news on the French champions, believe the 21-year-old could join the Hornets before the deadline on Thursday.
A deal of that magnitude would shatter Watford’s current transfer record, set a year ago with the £18m purchase of Andre Gray from Burnley.
Guedes has been courted by Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, although reportedly rejected the opportunity, and Watford have moved instead.

The club would be using money brought in from the sale of Richarlison to Everton on top of the usual Premier League TV money.
Guedes spent last season on loan at Valencia and the Spanish side were hoping to sign him permanently until being priced out of a move.
But Watford are reportedly prepared to meet that huge asking price within the next 24 hours.
