West Bromwich Albion look set to lose Nacer Chadli this summer – should Crystal Palace consider a move to cover for Wilfried Zaha?

With Wilfried Zaha the target of several clubs, such as Borussia Dortmund, with Tottenham Hotspur also holding an interest at the right price, Crystal Palace do have to consider the chance that he may leave this summer.
Crystal Palace clearly don’t want to sell, obviously, but we all know by now that player power is a thing; if Zaha pushes hard enough, he’ll get the move like many players before him.
As a potential replacement, however, a decent, cheap option could be West Bromwich Albion’s Nacer Chadli.
The Belgian has been strongly linked in Turkey with a move to Besiktas recently, but Crystal Palace, who are yet to make big moves this transfer window, should consider getting there first.
Chadli saw his profile rise after a solid World Cup – something he needed after an injury struck season with West Brom. He’s a talented player who would help with two problems at Palace.
Chadli is a winger who can operate as a forward if need be, and Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson found a lot of success last season with wingers playing the forward role – with Zaha and Andros Townsend.
On top of that, Chadli could fit in on the left of midfield – a position currently sitting vacant after Ruben Loftus-Cheek returned to Chelsea when his loan deal ended.
It was claimed earlier this month that West Brom would accept as little as £9m for the player – a considerable bargain for a World Cup player with Chadli’s versatility and experience.
