Wolverhampton Wanderers should make a move for the reportedly available AC Milan defender.

Nuno Espirito Santo will be desperate to bolster his ranks at Wolves this summer, in the hope of guiding his side to a successful Premier League campaign this season.
One area where the Portuguese wants to improve upon is his central defensive department, with more depth required, and with this in mind, he should consider making a move for AC Milan centre-back Mateo Musacchio.

According to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, the 27-year-old could be available for around £14 million this summer, after having failed to establish himself at the San Siro following his move from Villarreal in the summer of 2017.

Standing at just under 6ft tall, Musacchio is far from your archetypal centre-back, but that is not to say that he isn’t gifted in the art of defending.
The Argentine is a wonderful reader of the game, and that combined with his excellent positional sense makes him a fantastic all-round defender.

He is vastly experienced in playing at the very highest level, having spent eight years with Villarreal before making his move to Milan last summer, and that could prove to be a vital asset for Wolves upon their return to the top flight this season.
With Nuno’s preference of playing three centre-backs, the addition of another central defender this summer will surely feature highly on his wish-list, and for just £14 million, Wolves could secure themselves a real bargain by bringing the six-capped Argentina international to Molineux.
