West Ham are expected to be after a striker this summer.

Italian giants AC Milan have reduced their asking price for Colombian striker Carlos Bacca to just £15.5million, according to reports, so should Manuel Pellegrini reignite West Ham United’s interest from the summer of 2016?
BBC Sport reported two years ago that West Ham were in talks to sign Bacca from Milan, however, he chose to remain and fight for his place at the San Siro – rejecting what was supposedly a deal worth £26million.
But he gave up his fight for a place in the first team at Milan last summer, rejoining Spanish side Villarreal on a season-long loan where he starred with 18 goals in 43 league and cup outings – as well as laying on seven assists.

Italian outlet CalcioMercato now claim that AC want £15.5million for the striker, who came on as a substitute against England on Tuesday in the two countries’ World Cup last 16 clash.
West Ham are likely to be after a striker after Andy Carroll suffered another season plagued by injury, while Javier Hernandez’s future at the London Stadium remains a doubt.
So, with Bacca’s price far smaller than it was two years ago, surely West Ham should reignite their interest in the Colombian forward in order to finally provide themselves with a big-name striker that they have been crying out for.

Bacca has huge pedigree and the kind of calibre of player that West Ham look to purchase in the transfer window, after 48 Colombia caps and two Europa League triumphs with Sevilla.
Signing the striker will give the Hammers the kind of forward they require to push themselves into the top half of the table and challenge for European qualification – as they did back in the 2015-16 campaign under Slaven Bilic.
