Another season, another new era at AC Milan.
Just a year after the seven-time European champions handed the managerial reigns to Marco Giampaolo, while bringing club legends Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban back to the San Siro to pull the strings behind the scenes, a shake-up is in store once again.
Giampaolo has gone, Boban followed and now Maldini appears to have one foot out of the door. The increasingly inevitable appointment of Ralf Rangnick, in a joint manager-sporting director role, has created a chasm at the heart of the Italian giants.
And while the arrival of the man who has transformed RB Leipzig from a lower-league outfit into Champions League quarter-finalists has not yet been confirmed, Rangnick already appears to have drawn up a list of transfer targets (TMW).
Unsurprisingly, given Rangnick is famed for unearthing rough diamonds and turning them into the jewels of European football, a Paris Saint-Germain wonder-kid who will be a free agent in July is among them.
And this may be a dagger to the plans of Leeds United.
