AC Milan have reportedly made Chelsea striker Armando Broja a transfer priority in the January transfer window, with Everton and Newcastle United also interested in signing the Albanian international.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri have identified the 21-year-old attacker as one of their main targets for January, though Calciomercato have recently reported that Chelsea are not willing to sell the Cobham academy graduate, who has a valuation of £27m.
A target for both Frank Lampard’s Everton and Newcastle according to Ben Jacobs, Broja has made just three starts in all competitions for Chelsea this campaign, with the youngster scoring once in the process. And as a result, there’s reason to believe that the Blues could soften their stance on the youngster.
With Chelsea’s attack set to undergo a massive revamp in the January window, there is a good case to be made that Milan might have a shot at signing Broja, especially with the reigning Scudetto champions having a very strong business relationship with the Premier League side.
Indeed, Milan have signed Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori from the Blues in recent years to great success, and with Broja in need of minutes elsewhere, the San Siro side could be the perfect destination for the Chelsea attacker, much to the dismay of both Everton and Newcastle.
Milan signing Broja could be one of their best transfers in some time

Milan’s transfer strategy of signing young players with the potential to grow at the club has been one of the main pillars of the Rossoneri’s success in recent years, and there’s good reason to believe that winning the race for Broja, who was hailed as ‘exciting’ by Gary Neville, could be the Italian giants’ best deal in some time.
Whilst Everton and Newcastle will both be kicking themselves for missing out on Broja, there’s no question that the Albanian international has the quality and potential to become a superstar in Italy, with Chelsea without a real excuse as to why they can’t offload the 21-year-old in January.
